CCOO Justice expresses its opposition to the possible new Minister of Justice

BEFORE THE NEWS APPEARED, IN SOME DIGITAL INFORMATION MEDIA, ABOUT THE POSSIBLE APPOINTMENT AS A NEW MINISTER OF JUSTICE OF JUAN CARLOS CAMPO, CCOO MANIFESTS OUR FRONTAL OPPOSITION

The trajectory of Juan Carlos Campo as Secretary of State for Justice at the time when he was Minister of Justice Francisco Camaño, his positions in relation to the Civil Registry (he intends to close the offices of small and medium-sized towns) and his commitment to suppression of the Courts of Peace and the judicial parties centralizing all the courts in the provincial capitals, among other attitudes contrary to the official position of their party in defense of the rural world, and its manifestations, being a spokesperson for the PSOE in the justice commission of the Congress, against the rights of the personnel of the Administration of Justice to which it has tried to impose the forced mobility in a reform of the LOPJ agreed with the PP IN 2018, are several samples of the reasons for which it has been gained to be a person non grata for the Justice Sector of CCOO and for a large part of our collective.

CCOO is addressing those responsible for the PSOE, and its secretary general, to inform them that the eventual appointment of Juan Carlos Campo as Minister of Justice would be a serious error and a further setback for the rights of citizens and staff of the Administration of Justice.

Today there has been a further concentration in the City of Justice of Murcia, which have already been made in claim to negotiate the increase of the Specific Complement.

Concentrations that have been at a national level with clear support for workers.
