The regional museums organize new guided tours during Holy Week and the Spring Festival

The museums managed by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture organize during the Holy Week and the next Spring Festival of Murcia new guided tours both temporary exhibitions and permanent collections.

Other activities will also be added to the visits, such as a new urban art intervention at the Muram de Cartagena.

These activities "contribute to expanding the range of activities for both the citizens of the Region and those who visit during these days of celebration," said counselor Miriam Guardiola, who noted that "culture joins other attractions, such as processions and the parades and activities that will take place during the Spring Festival, to make the Region of Murcia a place of great tourist interest in which the visitor can enjoy numerous and varied experiences ranging from enjoying the beaches and the gastronomy to know the heritage and treasures that house our museums ".

The regional museums will close their doors on Good Friday and, in the case of the museums of Murcia, the day of the Bando de la Huerta and the afternoon of the Burial of the Sardine, although for the rest of the days they have organized visits and activities such as that will take place this week at the Archaeological Museum of Murcia (MAM), where you can learn about the Roman past of the region and everything that surrounded the Roman villas through the exhibition 'Villae.

Guided tours are planned today on Wednesday and Saturday 20 and, next week, on April 24 and 26 (6:00 pm).

Visits to the permanent collection can also be made, and on Thursdays (6:30 pm) and Saturdays (11:30 am) the store can be visited.

In the Museum of Fine Arts of Murcia (Mubam), where it has just opened the exhibition 'Sofia Morales.

Finally, at the Regional Museum of Modern Art in Cartagena (Muram), the public can visit the Aguirre Palace (special tours for people with visual disabilities are included) and, on the occasion of the exhibition 'Urban Art: Street Legends', the Peruvian artist Carlos Atoche will be doing a live work, in the museum itself, on April 26 and 27.
