In sanitary matters, the Regional Executive has given the green light, among other agreements, to supply the necessary material for the extraction of blood units for the Regional Hemodiadontion Center, amounting to almost 3 million euros, and to the acquisition of a new computerized axial tomography (CT) multislice equipment for the Reina Sofía hospital in Murcia, with a budget of 544,500 euros.

The Council has also authorized an agreement with the City of Lorca to launch the home help service in the municipality, for a total amount of 2.3 million until 2022, which will allow older people dependent on the municipality receive domestic support and help in the activities of daily life, favoring their autonomy and allowing them to remain at home if that is their desire.

Also in social care, the Executive has approved another agreement for the maintenance of the center of early attention of the Association of People with Autism Spectrum Disorder of the Region of Murcia (Asteamur).

Among other agreements, the Governing Council has approved two subsidies for the provision of public bus transport services that facilitate access to public health and education services for residents of the municipalities of Águilas, Blanca, Abarán and Cieza.

900,000 euros in aid for innovative companies with technological potential

The Governing Council has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Employment, Universities, Business and Environment to invest 900.0000 euros in aid to support innovative companies with technological potential and scalable, ie those who have already tested the product and its model of business and that are in a position to expand into new countries and markets.

These subsidies are aimed at promoting the creation and consolidation of this type of innovative companies in the Region, so that their research and technological development projects add value to the regional productive fabric.

It is a line of aid from the Institute of Development of the Region of Murcia (Info) co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF),

Small businesses (less than 50 employees and 10 million annual turnover) that respond to one of these three categories will be able to benefit from this aid: technology-based companies, innovative technology companies, or companies with an innovative and scalable business model.

Due to its special typology, the aids are aimed at the promotion of highly qualified employment, such as engineers, especially computer scientists, programmers, robotics experts, biologists, etc.

Grants can reach up to 70,000 euros per applicant, to cover the direct salary costs of staff, expenses of external collaborations directly related to the activity of the company, as well as travel and accommodation costs for stays in international innovation or entrepreneurship centers .

750,000 euros to support the guarantees for the investment of a hundred SMEs

The Governing Council has approved that the Institute of Development (Info) allocate 750,000 euros to support the investments of a hundred small and medium regional companies that require guarantees from the guarantee system.

The Info estimates indicate that this line of business support will finance investment projects for an amount exceeding 26 million euros, the creation of about 250 new jobs and the maintenance of 1,300 jobs.

SMEs, due to their size and structure, in order to finance their business projects require guarantees, which reduces their competitiveness.

These aids designed to cover the cost of the guarantees are intended to avoid this burden.

The aid consists of a maximum of 0.75 percent of the cost of the outstanding balance of the loan established between the guarantor entity and the Murcian company, during the period of validity of said guarantee and up to a maximum of 15 annuities.

SMEs that want to benefit from this guarantee system for their investments must submit their request to the Info before formalizing the guarantee.

The company receives the aid once the loan and corresponding guarantee have been formalized and its investment justified.

Agrarian modernization

3 million in aid to irrigation communities to improve their water and energy efficiency

The head of the Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Council has informed the Governing Council about the processing of two orders that regulate two lines of aid for communities of irrigators and general communities of irrigators of the Region, foreseen in the Development Program Rural of the Region of Murcia for the period 2014-2020, and with a joint allocation of three million euros.

The first aid line, which has a budget of 1.5 million euros, is aimed at investments for the improvement and modernization of irrigation infrastructures.

The maximum aid per application is 400,000 euros, without it being able to exceed 40 percent of the cost of the investment (or 20 percent if the aid is for the generation of renewable energies).

The projects for the improvement and modernization of community irrigation infrastructures for which aid may be requested must aim at the rational use of water and energy resources through the improvement of the efficiency of irrigation systems and the saving of water, the reduction of water losses in transport and distribution, the improvement of the energy efficiency of irrigation infrastructures, the generation of renewable energy to supply the irrigation infrastructure, or the increase in the capacity to regulate flows and / or storage through the construction of irrigation ponds.

Subsidized projects should be considered on already existing irrigable areas.

With the same budget the Order that regulates the aid for the improvement of energy efficiency and generation of renewable energy has been endowed.

In this case, the maximum aid per application is set at 300,000 euros, without exceeding 30% of the cost of the investment.

These aids are aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and saving energy costs through the execution of investments that improve the energy efficiency of irrigation infrastructures, or that allow the generation of renewable energy (photovoltaic, hydraulic or wind). ) to supply them.

Health

More than five million to strengthen the security of SMS data carriers

This agreement is part of the objective of the regional government to facilitate the practical training of university students in departments of the Community, for which makes available centers and staff tutor.

The association will receive a subsidy of 46,667 euros this year through the Murciano Institute of Social Action (IMAS).

This center last year attended 57 children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Generalized Developmental Disorder (PDD), Asperger's Syndrome or other developmental problems.

It is expected that this year there will be 70 children attended this early care center where educational intervention services are carried out with schools, individual therapies and home intervention or speech therapy.

The Community, through the IMAS, finances 33 centers of Early Assistance distributed throughout the regional territory, which serve children up to six years.

Subsidy for public bus transport in Blanca, Abarán, Cieza and Águilas

The Governing Council has approved, at the proposal of the Ministry of Development and Infrastructure, the granting of two subsidies for the provision of two public bus transport services in the municipalities of Águilas, Blanca, Abarán and Cieza, with a global budget of 45,163 euros.

The Community guarantees the bus lines of the MUR-035 concession, which runs between Blanca and Cieza for Abarán, and the MUR-065, which connects Águilas with El Garrobillo to provide residents of these towns with access to public health services. and educational in the region, despite its low profitability and economic viability, with operating costs of less than 100,000 euros per year.

The MUR-035 Blanca-Cieza concession begins its itinerary in the center of the municipality of Blanca, where it has several stops, continues its journey to San José Artesano de Abarán and ends at the Cieza bus station.

For its part, the MUR-065 has four different routes to link different population centers of Águilas.
