Hundreds of candles joined to form the acronym of AELIP, in the VI Velada por las Lipodistrofias held in Totana

Many people took part last Saturday, April 13, at night in the Plaza de la Balsa Vieja in Totana (Murcia) in the VI Velada por las Lipodistrofias, which was organized by the International Association of Relatives and People Affected by Lipodystrophies (AELIP ) and had the collaboration of the City of Totana and the Illustrious Superior Chapter of Processions of Totana.

It was attended by seven bands of horns and drums of the Holy Week of Totana, who supported with their presence and their music this act.

Hundreds of candles that could be acquired there joined one by one and formed the abbreviations of AELIP.

The benefits obtained will be allocated to this association, an entity that works to improve the quality of life of people who live with a lipodystrophy.

Among the attendees were the presence of AELIP executives;

the mayor of Totana, Andrés García, and other members of the municipal corporation;

the president of the Cabildo, José Ramón Peñalver, and presidents of brotherhoods and brotherhoods of Holy Week totanera.

Precisely, the presidents of the fraternities that participated in the act were responsible for reading a decalogue that includes the main demands and needs of people living with these diseases.

AELIP wants to show its gratitude to all the participants in this initiative, framed in the events of the World Day of Lipodistrofias, which was celebrated on March 31st.
