The Cendeac explores the physical and conceptual 'Interiors' with the Contemporary Art Introduction Course

The ninth edition of this cycle is celebrated in the Culture space starting on April 3 with the participation of six art specialists , architecture and literature

The Center for Documentation and Advanced Studies of Contemporary Art (Cendeac), a space managed by the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, will host the ninth edition of the Contemporary Art Introduction Course, which will be held on April 3 until mid-June.

This new edition will feature the participation of specialists in art, criticism, architecture and literature that will address concepts related to 'Interiors' from different disciplines.

With this title, participants will be invited to reflect on the private interiors and the physical or conceptual delimitations that separate them from the public exterior;

as well as the role of literature, art, urbanism and architecture when redefining the space of privacy in the present.

The course will take place from April to June and is directed by the professor of the University of Alicante Miguel Mesa del Castillo.

The first conference will be on April 3 and will be the responsibility of the journalist and writer Sabina Urraca.

The Catalan artist Jordi Colomer will participate on April 24, and the architect and professor at the School of Architecture of Madrid Lucía Jalón, on May 8.

May 16 will be the turn of the Sergio del Molino from Madrid, also a journalist and writer, and the cycle will end this year with the cultural critic and curator Alberto Ruiz de Samaniego (May 22) and the architect and professor Anna Puigjaner ( June 12).

The Contemporary Art Introduction Course is aimed at people specialized in artistic and architectural disciplines as well as at general participants who are interested in debating and deepening in this subject.

The sessions will be held at 8:00 p.m. and the admission will be free until the capacity is reached.

Those who wish to obtain an attendance certificate must request it through the email, indicating their full name and DNI.

To have this certificate, the applicant must attend at least five of the six sessions and sign on the corresponding signature sheet.
