Open registrations for the 2 Kingdoms MTB Race

The trial has been consolidated after the successful participation of the last edition 2018

The 2 Kingdoms MTB Race has today opened the registration period for its next sporting event to be held on 4, 5 and 6 October in the Region of Murcia.

The organization has established three registration modalities according to the number of stages selected: 'Racer' for the participants in the three stages;

'weekend' for those enrolled in the second and third stage and 'Experience' for those who choose to participate in a single stage.

The test allows participation in pairs (male, female and mixed);

'Fire Force' for participants of the forces and security, fire and military bodies and the 'e-bike' for electric bicycles.

The three stages of the last edition were divided into a 12-kilometer climbing chrono with 660 meters of ascent, along narrow paths broken;

a marathon of 66 kilometers and 1,600 of positive height gain for mountain and desert landscapes and the third stage between Archena and the Sierra de Ricote with 60 kilometers and 1,460 meters of positive elevation gain.

The 2 Kingdoms MTB Race runs through several places in the Region of Murcia.

The test has left during its four years of history images of its passage through some areas of exceptional beauty, such as Archena and the Ricote Valley or during the climb to the Clockmaker's Peak in the municipality of Murcia.

Among the winners of this test in the absolute category are riders such as the Portuguese Luis Leao Pinto, winner of the first two editions and Xavi Porras, of Olympia Spain, who won in 2017. In women, the 2015 edition was for the French runner Mouriel Bouhet, while in 2016 Sandra Jordá won (2017).

In the last edition the winners were Murcia Ismael Sanchez Adán, World Master 30 XCO champion of the team33 BIKE and the champion of Spain Marathon, Desirée Moya of the Manzanares Berria team, who repeated triumph after dominating and winning also in the 2017 edition.

The 2 Kingdoms MTB Race has established itself as one of the sports events of reference not only national, but also international of recent times.

In the last edition, 350 runners participated with representation of 12 nationalities, which gives an idea of ​​its international projection.

As in previous editions, the Murcia Challenge group, in charge of organizing the event, has established a promotional discount for the first 100 entries.
