The delegate of the Government has presided today a new meeting of the Social Commission of Follow-up of the works

Diego Conesa, delegate of the Government in the Region of Murcia, said this morning that the burial as it passes through the city of Murcia is a reality that advances by forced marches and that will mean an improvement of all railway infrastructures.

In this general improvement, and not exclusively in the evolution of the burial, the new meeting of the Social Commission of Follow-up of the works of the High Speed in Murcia celebrated today in the Delegation of the Government and in which all the entities have participated and administrations involved, political parties and social sectors affected.

Conesa has indicated that the cuts experienced by some rail lines in the Region are absolutely essential to move towards infrastructures of the 21st century.

Thus, the line Lorca-Murcia remains cut from yesterday and until next February 23.

"In Camarillas, the forecast is to cut on March 2.

On days 3, 4, 5 and 6 the links will be made on both sides, Cieza and Agramón, on the 8th the infrastructures will be delivered to Renfe and the obligatory Civil Protection tests will be carried out ", explained Conesa, who added that since on that date and until March 20 will be carried out training tests for train drivers and all the necessary documentation will be delivered so that the State Rail Safety Agency issues its final authorization.

"Therefore, on March 21 is scheduled to open Camarillas," confirmed the Delegate.

In relation to the burial, Conesa has indicated that the term that will be affected by the cuts includes from March 14 to April 11 and is divided into two phases.

"The first, from March 14 to 21, a route in the Reguerón is cut to make links, but it can continue to operate and trains will arrive from Alicante and from Cartagena to Murcia.

The second, from March 21 to April 11, the circulation of the lines Murcia-Alicante and Murcia-Cartagena is cut "detailed the delegate of the Government.
