The Community and Cáritas guarantee the dining service to students with fewer resources

The Secretary General of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, Esperanza Moreno, today held a meeting with the director of Caritas Diocese of Cartagena, José Antonio Planes, to expand the ways of collaboration and study actions to develop jointly.

The general secretary highlighted the work carried out by Cáritas, an association that, she said, "has extensive experience in serving the most vulnerable people in our society, working personally with each of them."

In addition, Moreno highlighted initiatives developed jointly as to ensure the dining service to students with fewer resources, funded by the Community with 26,454 euros for the year 2018, and explained that they have benefited from these scholarships 63 students of education Infant and Primary.

The meeting was also attended by the general director of Attention to Diversity and Educational Quality, Francisco Martínez, the general secretary of Cáritas Diocese of Cartagena, Juan Antonio Illán, and the head of Development of Parish Caritas, Gloria Gutiérrez.
