The Community opens the call for the Plan Associate 2019 and will allocate 150,000 euros to promote cultural activity in the municipalities

You can now submit applications to attend the grants, which are intended for non-profit associations and foundations

The Ministry of Tourism and Culture launches the call for aid of the Plan Asociarte 2019, which is part of the actions of cultural promotion and promotion of creative industries in the region driven by the regional government, which is endowed with 150,000 euros.

The resolution was published yesterday in the Official Bulletin of the Region of Murcia (BORM) and today opens the deadline for non-profit associations and foundations of the Region to present their proposals for activities.

The Director General of the Institute of Cultural Industries and the Arts (ICA), Marta López-Briones, recalled that "from Culture last year collaborated with 75 non-profit associations and foundations to carry out activities such as cycles and festivals of performing arts, music bands, ancient music, classical music, flamenco and numerous events related to folklore ".

In this way, added the head of the ICA, "we contribute to strengthen the culture throughout the region by bringing it closer to society, ensuring its access by all citizens, reside where they reside, and especially in the case of the most vulnerable groups , for whose integration many of these associations and foundations work ".

Submission of applications

Culture collaborates with the expenses of publicity and diffusion, lodging, displacement, diets and expenses referring to the development of the different cultural events that are developed of theater (room and street), circus, dance, music and folklore.

The projects will be evaluated according to criteria such as the cultural interest of the event to be subsidized, the curriculum and trajectory, which are activities or consolidated projects that are developed in different locations.

The participation of other entities in the financing of the activity or project and the target audience will also be taken into account.

Applications must be accompanied by a project / dossier or explanatory memorandum of the event for which the request is made, a detailed budget of the expenses that the call considers as eligible and other documentation related in detail in the call.

The period of execution of the activities will include the entire year 2019. Likewise, the maximum amount to be received in each project may not exceed 6,000 euros and only one will be admitted per entity.
