Isabel Casalduero: "The regional government manipulates figures and gives an erroneous view of the tourism sector of the Region"

Friday, August 31st, 2018

The regional deputy states that the tourism policy of the PP in the Region of Murcia is still characterized by lack of initiative, lack of direction, the waste of our great potential and an almost exclusive marketing strategy, leaving aside the promotion, "fundamental in a sector like this"

Socialist regional deputy Isabel Casalduero has criticized that the regional government is engaged in manipulating figures and give an erroneous and triumphalist view of the situation of the tourism sector in the region.

"It should not frivolize with the data on tourism, since it is one of the sectors that currently maintains our economy."

He recalled that a few days ago they knew the data of the Hotel Tourism Situation Survey for the month of July and hotel occupancy is 56.4 percent, compared to 71.1 percent nationwide.

"It is the second consecutive year with a decline in hotel occupancy in July in the Region."

In addition, the Socialist deputy has indicated that, according to the INE, the number of visitors in July was 125,069, that is, 6 percent less than the previous year.

In this regard, he regretted the imprudent statements made by the Minister of Tourism at the beginning of last month in which he spoke of a 90 percent hotel occupancy on the warm coast during July and August, which would mean an increase of 4 percent compared to the previous year, "some forecasts that have been shown well below what the reality throws."

"It also seems to us a lack of responsibility that the regional government intends to cling to the recovery of certain countries such as Egypt or Tunisia to justify this data, since the only thing that demonstrates it, is its null ability to anticipate realities that all the world knew, as well as a deep ignorance of the sector, "he added.

On the other hand, commented that it is striking to see the huge difference that throws the reality in terms of the difference in hotel occupancy percentage provided by the Survey of Hotel Tourism Situation with respect to the data offered by the Tourism Institute of the Region of Murcia (ITREM) for July.

"The latter pointed out that hotel occupancy data were at 73 percent (1 point more than in 2017) and the first shows 56.4 percent (1.2 points less than last year). I should say where this data comes from and with what intention, "he remarked.

Finally, Casalduero has affirmed that the erosion and the lack of a project for the Regional Government Region continues to be paid by citizens.

"It is not enough to change one name for another or the dance of counselors."

"The tourism policy of the Popular Party in the region is still characterized by the lack of initiative, the lack of direction, the waste of our great potential and an almost exclusive marketing strategy, leaving aside the promotion, fundamental in a sector like this, "he said.

"We also have to blame the total lack of foresight of the regional government to adapt to the trends of the sector, which makes us stagnate with respect to similar and nearby tourist destinations," he concluded.

Andrés Torrente: "The PSOE looks at the past because it does not have a future project for Spain or for the Region of Murcia"

Friday, August 31st, 2018

The coordinator of Economic Development of the regional PP, disfigures the PSOE because "their blindness prevents them from seeing that the president Lopez Miras bets by measures that benefit to the families murcianas like the descent of taxes &

Ensures that "the economic policies advocated by the PSOE only generate deficit and poverty"

The coordinator of Economic Development of the PPRM, Andrés Torrente has criticized that the PSOE both nationally and regionally "looks to the past because it has no future project for either Spain or the Region of Murcia" and regretted that " do it without blushing after detailing figures that do not correspond to reality. "

The person in charge 'popular' in economic matter has remembered to the socialist deputy, Martinez Baths, that if its political strategy is based on putting the sight in the past it must remember that "it was precisely the PSOE the one that left unemployment in stratospheric figures" and has asked that it recognize that "it has been the government of the PP, led by President López Miras, that has placed the region as the leader in economic growth and job creation."

At this point, the PSOE has been disfigured, saying that "their blindness prevents them from seeing that employment grows, and this means new opportunities for families in Murcia who will also see their taxes reduced thanks to the fact that the PP governs in the Region, with President López Miras who is committed to economic measures that really benefit Murcia and that are far from those announced by Pedro Sánchez. "

At the same time, he said that "the tax increases that the PSOE is going to start will seriously harm 80% of the population, its economic policies generate deficits and poverty and the data endorse it".

For this reason, he assured "from the PP, we look to the future", and according to all indicators "the Region will continue to grow at the rate of 3 percent, today 84% of employment is full-time, so far this year 17,000 more people affiliated with Social Security and these growth rates will allow reaching 620,000 employed in the year 2020, an objective that has been marked by President López Miras. "

Andrés Torrente, has urged the PSOE to also look to the future, "not raising taxes, agreeing on a fair system of financing for all Murcia and betting on a fair and solidary policy on water that includes the transfers in the national agreement", with these measures would win the Region and the million and a half of Murcia, "he concluded.

We can take an initiative for greater protection of personal data in the SMS public employment processes

Friday, August 31st, 2018

Regional deputy of Podemos, M. Angeles García Navarro, has reported that "only with the number of the DNI, passport or resident card, is more than enough to comply with the Transparency Law and in turn, is a way to protect the personal data of people who attend the competitions, especially in the access by the quota of disability, so that their names and surnames do not appear. "

García Navarro has indicated that "public selective processes must be governed by transparency and in accordance with the Law on Data Protection (Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13, Protection of Personal Data) so data of a personal nature, or of physical and psychological condition, do not have to be made public, something that is not fulfilled at the moment, when the SMS publishes the lists of admitted persons with names indicating whether they have agreed to the disability quota ".

Thus, the deputy of Podemos has stated that "the number of the DNI is a non-transferable document and must sufficiently credit its owner without it being necessary to indicate the personal data contained in it, such as his name and surname, so that with this data would be sufficient to comply with the Transparency Law and to protect personal data of people who attend public selective processes for the disability quota ".

For this reason, M. Ángeles García Navarro has made progress that Podemos is going to take to the Regional Assembly an initiative so that the information related to the selective tests for access as a public employee of the Murcian Health Service that require the publication of the data personal details of the persons participating in said selective tests, in any case, only the number of the DNI, passport or resident card of the applicants, without it being necessary the indication of the personal data such as their name and surnames .

Agents of the Benemérita, specialized in investigation of organized crime, began the operation at the beginning of summer, after detecting an increase in the number of complaints filed for alleged scams in holiday apartment rentals in La Manga del Mar Menor.

The researchers also verified the existence of some social alarm generated by the comments through social networks and media for this type of events.

In the complaints filed, both in the barracks of the Guardia Civil of Cabo Palos and in other police offices scattered throughout Spain, the complainants informed the agents that they had been victims of a possible scam, detected when they were traveling to La Manga of the Mar Menor from the different points of Spain where they resided and they found that the house did not exist or that it was occupied by its legitimate inhabitants.

Upon discovering the fraud, once the trip was made, the victims were forced to get another accommodation on the spot, with the consequent additional moral and economic damage.

Modus operandi

The now arrested allegedly fraudulently offered rental apartments for vacations through the Internet, ghost dwellings that did not exist or over which he had no legal power to exercise his lease, requesting a copy of his identity documents and a signal economic reservation, either by bank transfer, money order or cash.

The first investigations carried out allowed the civil guards to identify a neighbor of Murcia, with a broad criminal record for similar events, which could be found after the authorship of the scams investigated.

In mid-August and after obtaining the necessary evidence, the investigators located and detained the suspect as alleged perpetrator of the crimes of fraud, identity theft, falsification of documents and misappropriation.

After the arrest, the civil guards continued with the investigation to clarify all the criminal acts in which the detainee could be related, adding, so far, fifty crimes clarified.

Although many of the criminal acts were reported in the barracks of Cabo Palos, the result of police coordination, agents have also been able to impute scams to the arrested now that were reported in the locations of residence of the injured, located in the provinces of Murcia, Madrid, Seville, Granada, Alicante, Valladolid and Zamora.

The tourist areas chosen by the researcher to locate the "ghost" homes to be rented changed depending on the time of year.

During the summer it performed in the area of La Manga del Mar Menor (Murcia), although it has been proven that during the winter it also offered homes located in the perimeter zone of Sierra Nevada (Granada).

The investigation shows that the detainee would have defrauded more than 85,000 euros, having also improperly appropriated a high-end vehicle.

In addition, on the detainee there were seven judicial claims of detention of judicial authorities of Granada, Valladolid, Cartagena, Madrid and Huelva.

Entry in prison of the arrested

The Spanish detainee, 39, a resident of San Javier and with a large criminal record, along with the proceedings, has been made available to the Court of Instruction of Murcia, which has decreed his entry into prison.

The PSOE affirms that the Government of Spain is listening to the people to build a comprehensive railway project in the Region of the 21st century

Friday, August 31st, 2018

Alfonso Martínez Baños points out that with Diego Conesa, the lies are over and the citizenship has been turned on its back, and he recalled that the first step was the burying of roads in the city of Murcia, which the PP had turned into one of the most talked about social conflicts in the history of the Region

The Secretary of Municipal Policy PSRM-PSOE and regional deputy, Alfonso Martinez Baños, said that the Government of Spain, represented by Diego Conesa, will do in just over two months what the PP has been unable to do in years: design and build a comprehensive railway project for the entire Region of the 21st century, listening and talking to people.

He recalled that the first step was the burying of roads in the city of Murcia, which the PP had become one of the most talked about social conflicts in the history of the region for wanting to bring the AVE on surface to the station The Carmen.

"Diego Conesa committed himself to the thousands of neighbors and neighbors affected to offer an alternative solution and in just a few days fulfilled. The AVE will reach the city buried in 2020 and the two pending projects to finish the burial in the city of Murcia are already tendered, "he said.

Martínez Baños has indicated that now the Government of Spain and the PSRM are working on agreeing with the local authorities and society the arrival of the AVE to the cities of Cartagena and Lorca.

"In Cartagena, ADIF is already working on a principle of agreement so that in a first phase the train will be buried within the expected deadlines and in a more complete rail development in the medium term," he explained.

"And in Lorca, contrary to what the PP has disseminated, there is no project, not even the previous informative study is published, once it is published and based on the opinion of neighbors and SMEs, the project of arrival will be developed of the AVE to this city ", he added.

On the other hand, the socialist leader has commented that Diego Conesa works to try to resolve the social conflicts created by the PP with the passage of the train through Alcantarilla, Alhama and Totana.

"For this, it has met repeatedly with affected neighbors to find alternatives that minimize the impact of the railway, despite the difficulty of changing projects that have already been completed."

"Another of the immediate objectives is to recover the Javalí variant, since the Environmental Impact Statement had been allowed to lapse without developing such an important strategic project in the rail network of the Region", he concluded.

Barnabas: "PSOE, Podemos and Ciudadanos are some gamblers who have stolen the AVE from all Murcia"

Friday, August 31st, 2018

The PP senator from Murcia reproaches them for having "perpetrated the biggest political scam in the History of the Region", since "everything is done and remains the same as it would be with the AVE, but without the AVE"

Regrets that "they have only wanted, together with the Platform, to take away that PP medal, but whoever has taken it away is one and a half million Murcians"

The Popular Party senator for Murcia, Francisco Bernabé, said this Friday, in a meeting with the media held at the Carmen Station in the city of Murcia, that "today is the day on which the PP Government had expected that the AVE began to run on tests, "but it has not been because," PSOE, We and Citizens are some gamblers who have stolen the AVE to all Murcia. "

Thus, the parliamentarian, who has been accompanied by national deputies Javier Ruano and Ascensión Carreño, as well as by the senators Pedro José Pérez and Nuria Guijarro, has recriminated the three political forces that have consummated their actions "with traps and deceptions , the biggest political scam in the history of the Region of Murcia, because everything is done and everything remains the same as it would be with the AVE, but without the AVE ".

At this point, he recalled "that the provisional route is opened, that the level crossing closes, that the famous 'wall', which is finally called 'acoustic screen', remains, and that the pedestrian footbridge remains ";

that is to say, it has remarked, "a deception like the glass of a pine, carried out by these three political forces that have only sought to harm the Region of Murcia".

"Unfortunately, today the AVE trains are not, nor are they expected, at least for three long years, and this despite the completion of the works," lamented Francisco Bernabé, for whom this "is a punishment for the Region of Murcia, which, once again, has been imposed on us by the socialist government of Pedro Sánchez, led by its Delegate Diego Conesa, who has had the express support of Podemos and the acquiescence of Citizens to perpetrate it. "

During his speech, Bernabé has referred to the consequences of the delay in the arrival of High Speed to the Region of Murcia, recalling the conclusions of the recent report by the Association of Economists of the Region, as well as the Universities of Murcia and the Polytechnic of Cartagena, which estimates that "more than 300 million euros of economic production and more than 2,300 jobs will be lost annually", figures that multiplied by the three years of delays that lie ahead, "add up to amount that exceeds 900 million euros and 7,000 jobs ", something that is" a luxury that under no circumstances we can afford ", has reproached.

"The government of the PSOE and its two partners punish us motivated solely by political motives, because there are no technical reasons," said the senator of the PP, who stressed that "this decision will cause us to remain poorly communicated for years rail and using only old diesel trains. "

Other damages to which Francisco Bernabé has referred that we will suffer during these next times are those that affect the commuter trains, "since they will not be able to be improved or modernized, because the road will not be electrified".

And he recalled that "the Mediterranean Corridor, which is both freight and passengers, was going to allow us to connect in 30 minutes with Alicante, in an hour and a half with Valencia, or in three and a half hours with Barcelona, but also going to remain in oblivion for at least three more years, "while" Madrid is no longer going to be two hours and twenty minutes from Murcia, as it was going to be at the end of this year, but we will continue with travel times of about four hours, "he detailed.

PRO-GROUND PLATFORM

On the other hand, the senator has not overlooked the performance that in all this process has had the Platform Pro Soterramiento, which has dedicated a special mention defining it as "an entity with Rey Sol complex, as its members think that they they are Murcia, when in the Region we live one and a half million people, the vast majority of whom do not think like them ".

Bernabé has been surprised by the change of attitude of this association that "before was so belligerent against the Government of the PP and that now it is so submissive and claudicante with the new Government of the PSOE".

Therefore, and in view of this present scenario "to which they have always opposed so radically" he asked them "if the works have become legal by magic or if a miracle has caused that, suddenly , the environmental impact statements are already correct. "

Because, Bernabé insisted, suddenly "they no longer talk about their multiple complaints before judges, prosecutors and European organizations, nor about the supposed irreparable damage to the neighbors, much less continue defending that the AVE is already arriving at the station. Beniel. "

And the most paradoxical thing, he remarked, is "that now they say they do believe that they are going to carry out the burial because all the stages are already published in the BOE", before which they have asked them again "what leads them then to oppose at this time that the AVE may arrive provisionally on the surface, as planned. "

The answer to this question has been facilitated by the PP senator himself in his statements to the media, stating that "the Platform, together with PSOE, Podemos and Ciudadanos, all they have wanted is to remove that medal from the PP, but to whom they have taken it away from the million and a half of Murcians. "

Martínez Baños: "The PP has built a region over a house of cards for 24 years" The Secretary of Municipal Policy of the PSRM-PSOE and regional deputy states that they have been 24 years lost in megalomaniacal projects, such as Paramount Par

Friday, August 31st, 2018

The Secretary of Municipal Policy PSRM-PSOE and regional deputy, Alfonso Martínez Baños, has assured that the various regional governments of the PP have built for 24 years a Region of Murcia on a house of cards that took the crisis.

"This is a speculative model that puts us at the tail of Spain, with the highest inequality rates, the lowest salaries and pensions, the lowest family income and the highest rates of loss of purchasing power. more than 30 percent of the population at risk of exclusion and poverty, "he said.

The socialist leader recalled that the failed Paramount project in Alhama joins that of Cabo Cope in Águilas, Novo Cathago in Cartagena, the Corvera airport, the Escombreras desalination plant or the Cartagena-Vera highway, among others.

"But this is not the only consequence: the negligence of the PP will have millionaire costs for the public coffers, the more than 600 million euros that will cost us the desalination plant of Escombreras and the more than 300 million euros that have already been paid in the Corvera airport, now, possibly, we have to add the claim of almost 40 million euros for the failed Paramount park, "he said.

He recalled that this project was approved in 2013 by the governments of the PP in the Community and the City of Alhama, despite the warnings of the PSOE municipal spokesman, José Espadas, that it was intended to build on a protected area, which it would end in court and there would be millionaire claims.

Martínez Baños has urged the regional government to give explanations in the Assembly before the representatives of the town.

"They have to explain what will happen to all these failed projects and take responsibility."

Finally, he announced that the Socialist Parliamentary Group is studying the format in which he will request the appearance of the president to give an account of the consequences that these 24 years lost in megalomaniacal projects will have for the Region.

Specifically, the incidence rate of accidents with sick leave has fallen by 4.4 percent, there have been 1,783 accidents per 100,000 workers, compared to 1,864.9 that occurred in the same period of 2017.

This was stated today by the Minister of Employment, Universities, Business and Environment, Javier Celdrán, who presented the report on the analysis of reported work accidents prepared by the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety.

"We all have to continue putting the means to increase occupational health, both administration, employers, unions and every company and employee." Behind every accident there is a personal drama and, although the first half of the year throws down data, there is no need to let your guard down for a second, "said Celdrán.

Likewise, the behavior of the incidence index by sectors from January to June indicates that in agriculture, with an index of 2,576.3 accidents, the highest decrease occurs with a decrease of 10.2 percent;

industry drops 0.8, and the index is 2,733.7;

and services recorded 1,238.4 incidents with a loss for every 100,000 workers, a decrease of 3.5 percent.

Of these, four workers have died in traffic accidents during their workday;

the other two that occurred in the Region of Murcia were due to falls in height.

In addition we must add the fatal accident in itinere, that is, in the displacement to the workplace.

Celdrán concluded that "we must continue to focus on training and prevention, on occupational health, as we do from the Occupational Health and Safety Institute, which is essential to continue reducing the number of work-related accidents".

In total, in the Region of Murcia were registered in the first half of the year 8,549 work accidents with sick leave, of which 8,494 were light, 49 serious and six fatal.
