The Ministry of Culture and Tourism, together with the Social Work of the CAM, holds the course 'The waiter, a major travel agent' with the aim of training professionals in this sector, and that in the first phase will be conducted in eight municipalities in the region.

The Director General of Tourism, Enrique Ujaldón, accompanied by the Territorial Director of Social Work of the CAM, Antonio Rubira, today this training activity and stressed that its aim is "to raise awareness among workers of the importance of tourism within the Region. "

Ujaldón noted that the aim of the professional club and bar is that "raise awareness of the importance of tourism in the Region of Murcia, know our tourism products and convey to customers as a travel agent."

It also seeks that students acquire the necessary skills and techniques to better meet customer needs, to enable him excellent care and enhance organizational behavior.

It is aimed primarily at employed workers in the hospitality sector and will also have places for the unemployed.

The course fully face and in which the student will have the material resources needed for each specific occasion, consists of four main blocks: 'Customer', 'Room Service Protocol', 'Introduction to tasting wine 'and' tourism awareness'.

Municipalities

The course is taught at an early stage in eight municipalities in the region.

In May, held in San Javier, from 2 to 21.

In Cartagena and Cehegín from 14 to 30, in Eagles, from 17 May to 5 June.
