IU-Greens emphasizes the role of citizens in the development of its program

Celebrate the "World of Birds-2011"

The next weekend, October 1-2, will be a new edition of this important event organized by BirdLife International global and coordinated in Spain by SEO / BirdLife.

The aim is to inform the world of birds and their conservation problems.

In Cartagena, the Association of Naturalists Sureste (ANSE) is organizing various activities.

Bringing the world of birds and their habitats for the citizens is the main objective of this global celebration that Spain has one of the countries with the highest turnout, with about 161 events and the participation of 40,000 people, thanks to 1,000 volunteers and 174 associates.

Each year this celebration focuses on one particular bird theme, having been elected the illegal hunting of migratory birds for this 2011.

The Southeastern Association of Naturalists, ANSE, Cartagena works organized in various activities:

– On Tuesday, September 27, talk to students of the College of Our Lady of Begoña birds and their main characteristics.

– On Saturday October 1, Charles "Bird, migration and conservation," an activity open to the public wishing to attend to full capacity in local ANSE in Cartagena, C / Medieras 6, Mezzanine, left, from 20:00 pm

– On Sunday October 2, information booth in front of Rafael de la Cerda Park (Tentegorra) during the morning and an environmental route around particularly aimed at children.

6,000 euros for family counseling and mediation with children subject to legal action

45,000 euros to boost the training of judges and magistrates

The Governing Council has given its approval to an agreement between the Community, the General Council of the Judiciary and Cajamurcia Foundation for the operation of European Legal Studies Forum Damaso Ruiz-Jarabo Colomer.

The Presidential allocated a total of 45,000 euros for the implementation and development of actions to promote training and retraining of judges and magistrates and promote the construction of a European judicial area.

Also, the Ministry will provide the venue which will host various activities within the Forum program and the provision of materials necessary for the development of different activities.

The program of the European Legal Studies Forum include, among others, the Judicial Application Course XVII of European Community Law, which will affect most relevant practical aspects in the field of judicial application of EU law, and the XIII Seminar Comparative Study of European judicial systems and international judicial cooperation through legal language, which will provide specific training on procedural systems and legal terminology of the other countries.

The Eleventh Annual Meeting of the Spanish Judicial Network for International Judicial Cooperation (REJUE) and the V Meeting of the Network of Experts on the European Union are the other two activities that complete the program of the forum.

The first supports the contact points of the European judicial network in active mediation efforts for effective legal assistance, while the second focuses on facilitating the work in the application of Community law.

Agreement with the Ornithological Society for the specialization of environmental agents

The regional government has approved an agreement between the Ministry of Presidency and the Spanish Ornithological Society (SEO / BirdLife) for the conduct of Murcia in a specialized course aimed at environmental agents in training and research in cases of illegal use of poison .

The goal is to train 25 officers in the investigation of environmental illegal use of poison in the environment to improve systems of prevention and prosecution of this crime and thus achieve a significant reduction in the use of poison.

The training day, entitled "Specialization of environmental agents in several communities in research and training in cases of poison ', will run for three days on the premises of Valley Visitor Center, Valley Regional Park and Carrascoy.

The use of poisoned baits in the natural environment is now one of the practices most harmful to the ecosystem in general and endangered wildlife species in particular.

In the Region of Murcia, since 2004 have identified over 120 cases of illegal use of poisoned baits that have claimed the lives of more than 200 animals of different species, like the eagle-hawk (in danger of extinction in the list of threatened species of wildlife in the region), the griffon vulture, golden eagle or owl.

Convention to promote renewable energy and sustainable development among students
